Who You Are
As an experienced cleaner, you are versatile, flexible, and able to work under pressure while meeting high hygiene standards. You possess effective communication skills and have a natural ability for teamwork. You are conscious about safety for yourself and others. You have a willingness to follow procedures, policies, and are open to attending staff Welsh language training if required.
What the Job Involves
The purpose of this role is to maintain Chepstow & Caldicot School Area to a high level of cleanliness and hygiene. You will carry out cleaning tasks such as washing floors and walls, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting and emptying of litter bins. Further responsibilities include cleaning of sanitary areas, operating vacuum cleaners and polishing/scrubbing machines, ensuring an adequate stock of cleaning materials and reporting equipment faults to the supervisor.
