Who You Are
You are a professional with experience in delivering quality repairs and maintenance to various property types. You are skilled in carrying out Plumbing works and are able to work as part of a team. You have the ability to plan and organise your workload to ensure the best service to customers. You are capable of providing regular updates and information to supervisors and other colleagues. You respect and adhere to the council's values of public service, quality, equality and empowerment and the relevant Health and Safety legislation.
What the Job Involves
This job requires you to carry out plumbing works and relevant trade duties to a high standard. You need to be reliable in dealing with appointments and targets, responding promptly to any unanticipated problems or delays. You should provide regular updates to superiors and colleagues, maintain and control imprest stock, and organise the required materials, tools, and equipment. You will train apprentices and ensure the effective use of information technology systems. Promoting and safeguarding welfare also falls within your responsibilities. Additionally, you're expected to attend meetings, supervision, seminars and other events designed to improve communication and assist with your development.
